Favourable conditions at the weekend and a host of low scores for the hotly contested Credit Suisse Capital June Medal. Leading the way with a 66 (86) was Alan Dick, recording his second win of the season. Tony Farndon, always on the lookout for an excuse, slipped and fell on the 15th injuring his shoulder (allegedly). After this he finished with a double bogey and two triple bogies also for a 66 (87), narrowly losing out on count back to Alan. Completing the lineup was an excellent round of 67 (84) for Kaye Sutherland. Congratulations also to Keith Norman for nearest the pin, with lowest gross score of the day going to David Todd with a 6th placed 69 (73).
