The Course of a 3 time Open ChampionEstablished in 1886, Innerleithen was designed by 3 times Open champion Willie Park Jnr. Located in the Leithen Valley, the course offers 9 delightful holes that provide a truly unique Scottish Borders golf experience. The layout offers an excellent mix of holes and the sound from the meandering Leithen Water is never far away, with the river coming into play on a number of holes.
If playing 18 holes, varying tee positions on some of the 'back' 9 holes offer a completely different playing experience. Our clubhouse offers free wifi, and a selection of hot and cold drinks and food. Special catering and beverage requirements for group visitors can be easily arranged and please click here to see what our 19th Hole has to offer. Our competitive green fee rates start from just £3 for Juniors and £5 for Adults (see full rates here). |

What our visitors have to say:
A must for any golfer visiting the Borders. Set in a valley surrounded by hills is quite stunning. Elevated tees on 1st & 3rd add to the pleasure. Easy to walk to get to the superb greens. My 2 friends enjoyed the challenge on their 1st visit, and like me will go back for more. All the members we met were very friendly
Played this on a stunning Sunday morning in July. It was like being in the Rockies! Some excellent driving holes with only one quirky par threes. The opening par three is a testing shot with ditch, road, bridge and river all in play. The par fives require long accurate drives and the greens were in decent condition. ...if you're simply looking for a quick round in a beautiful setting then Innerleithen hits the mark.
